It was during the first week of junior year of high school, and, as she skipped into her history class, her guy friend stopped her on her tracks, making her tilt her head in confusion. The ginger put one hand on his hip, and pointing at her with the other.

"You..." he stated, his voice serious and determined, "Are a Pineapple."

The brunette blinked, a smile of slight confusion on her face. Still, she wasn't going to ask clueless this time, and mimicked her friend's expression, though with a more sinister grin, furrowed eyebrows, and a laugh fit for a Disney villain.

"Well! You're a Peach!" she proclaimed in a childish tone full of playful command.

The guy rolled his eyes while the rest of the class snickered, "You have no understand what I mean by that, do you?"

The future Pineapple shrugged, now worried that "Pineapple" could mean something dirty (after all, this friend of her did have a perverted mind). Still, she shook her head with a false confidence.

"No, I don't!"

"It means you're brown on the outside, and blonde on the inside," he replied, a smirk on his pale lips, knowing she wouldn't understand what it meant, and trying not to laugh before getting her reaction

And he was right, as the freckle face girl tilted her head once more, trying to figure out the meaning on his quote.

"Brown on the outside... blonde on the outside... hmmm

Then, after a few pondering minutes, it suddenly clicked, knowing he was talking about the color of her real hair versus the stereotypical personality of a blonde. She puffed her cheeks, though she found it quite comical, and teasingly hit her friend.

"Hey! That's not nice!"

Thus, the girl gained the nickname which would stick with her for the rest of her high school career and her online friends.

Personality

When first meeting her, you may find an awkward, shy, sweet girl who appears quite polite and may stutter or say "um" everyother word. However, after those first five minutes....

"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming~"








Yeah... if you could sum Pineapple up to one character, it would be Dori. After all, she suffers from short-term memory lost, and can be such a dizzy optimistic. She can never seem to shut up, especially on such topics as history, her fandoms, and food. She can be annoying as well, never quite when to stop being, well, the crazy talkitive gal she is.

However, she is much more than hyper and "blonde," but would do anything for her friends, whenever they ask for her help or advise (even when it may not be best). At least, she can always try to bring a smile or laugh to anyone she meets, or at least give a big hug of encouragement.
